Just want to know how others would have played this hand. Weekly game of No-Limit Holdem, usually five to six players and down to 2 players. Blinds are $200/$400 level on a $1,500 game. Player A has 4:1 chip lead, player B goes all in with $1300 KJo; Player A calls with 103o pre-flop. Should player B have gone all in???
Thanks for your opinions! |

I think it was not a bad choice, but maybe not the best. It all depends on how player a usually plays. If player a calls anything with a A high, then probably not. But if player a has been playin tight, then sure. buy the blinds. And if you get called, then you still have a decent hand to play with. So, not a bad call from what it sounds like. I probably would've done the same thing. Who won?

When you have 3 BB heads-up, it's rarely incorrect to go all-in.

exactly. The blinds are so high right now there really isn't any poker to be played. When BB is nearly 1/3 of the chips in play. It is push and pray poker.

Right on thanks for the reponses. The Flop came and both players A & B missed, turn card was a 10h, river was 6?? So player A won with a pair of Tens. I was Player B and missed out on $60.00 but hey thats poker. I just wanted to know how others would have played it. player A was playing Tight-Passive all night. Not raising alot just checking and calling. Thanks again.
